The FBLA National Leadership Conference (NLC) is an exciting opportunity for students to showcase their skills in a variety of competitive events in-person. To ensure a fair and efficient competition experience for all participants, FBLA follows a predetermined schedule for all competitive events.
Competitive Events Schedule
The schedule for competitive events at NLC is carefully planned in advance to accommodate the large number of participants and judges. Each event is assigned a specific date and time, and competition schedules are communicated well before the conference on the website.
Can My Competitive Event Schedule Be Changed?
FBLA is unable to modify or adjust individual competitive event schedules, including:
- Changing event times to accommodate travel or other commitments.
- Rescheduling events due to personal conflicts or preferences.
- Adjusting dates of competitive events.
All participants must adhere to the scheduled times for their events. We strongly encourage competitors to plan their travel and other conference activities accordingly to avoid scheduling conflicts.
What If I Have a Conflict?
If you have a conflict with your scheduled event time or location, we recommend the following steps:

- Speak with your local chapter adviser to discuss any concerns.

Why Can’t Schedules Be Adjusted?
