STUDENTS: Do not create a new account - only the account attached to your paid membership will be able to access programs. Only advisers can update member usernames. Students should reach out to their advisers to complete the tasks below.
ADVISERS: Please see below for instructions for troubleshooting your student usernames.
Usernames
The username for each of your students is the e-mail address attached to their membership profile. If you need help registering your members, please click here for further instructions.
Username Troubleshooting
If you are having trouble with usernames, here are a few steps you can take:
- Login to the my.FBLA Membership Database
- Find the drop-down labeled ‘Advisers’ and then click ‘Manage Your Chapter’
- Click the blue box labeled ‘Your Chapter’
- Click ‘Manage Chapter Profile’
- Click the tab labeled ‘Individuals’ on your Chapter Profile.
- From there, you’ll find a list of your chapter members. Click ‘Manage’ next to the student’s name who is having trouble login.
- When the student’s profile opens, you’ll want to check that the user has an active membership for the current school year.
- If they do not, it means their membership needs to be paid before they can access the BAA program.
- Next, click edit next to the e-mail address.
- On the ‘Edit E-mail Address’ screen, confirm that the e-mail address shown is correct AND confirm with your student that they are trying to login using that e-mail address.
- If it is wrong, type the correct e-mail address.
- Select the ‘Email Type’.
- If you see the option to ‘Use this E-Mail Address to Login’, check the box and click save.
- Click okay through the messages that it will change your login e-mail address – it will only impact the student’s login.
- Your student should now be able to login using that e-mail address.
- If you do not see the option above, click save and check for a yellow box labeled “Create User’ under the member profile picture.
- If it is present, click ‘Create User’.
- Your student should now be able to login using that e-mail address.
- If it is not present, click ‘Edit’ next to e-mail to reopen the email editing box and check to see if the ‘Use this E-Mail Address to Login’ box is now available.
- If it is, click save.
