Keeping your contact information up to date in CONNECT ensures you receive important emails, resources, and updates related to your chapter and FBLA involvement.
Below is a quick guide to updating the fields shown in CONNECT.
Step 1: Log in to CONNECT
Log in to CONNECT using your existing username and password.
Once logged in, navigate to My Profile in the upper right corner. Please note, if you're an adviser or officer trying to update another individuals profile, you'll click on the edit icon next to the individuals name from the member page.
Step 2: Review and Update Profile Information
In your profile, you’ll see several sections where contact and personal information can be updated.
Email Information
Login Email
This is the email you use to log in to CONNECT.Contact Email
Optional alternate email address (for example, a chapter or officer email).Email Preference
Send all emails to my Login Email address, or
Send all emails to my Contact Email address.
Be sure your preference matches where you want to receive official communications. Please note, you can only get password resets to the login email address regardless of email preference.
Phone Number
Add or update your mobile phone number (preferred).
Phone contact preferences can be managed using the Manage Contact Preferences link.
Address Information
You may update both campus and home addresses if applicable.
Campus/School Address
Street Address
Apartment/Unit (if applicable)
City, State, Zip Code
Country
Home Address
Street Address
Apartment/Unit (if applicable)
City, State, Zip Code
Country
Not all users are required to complete both address sections.
Additional Profile Fields
Depending on your role and permissions, you may also update:
Undergraduate Major
Gender
Graduation Class
About Me
Birth Month and Birth Year
Grade level (for student members)
Step 3: Save Your Changes
After making updates, be sure to save your profile before navigating away from the page.
Important Notes
Fields marked with a lock icon have visibility restrictions and may only be editable by officers or staff.
If you are unable to edit a field you believe should be updated, contact your chapter adviser or state leader for assistance.
Keeping your email preferences current is especially important to avoid missing time-sensitive messages.
